Pay-per-click Marketing

Pay-per-click marketing

Sometimes the user may place a big order or he/she may exit the site without paying any order. The PPC advertisers use two methods. Either they enter a bid on specific keywords — which is crucial in determining the cost per click  — or they can pay a fixed rate per click. Pay-per-click marketing can be divided into two categories:

  • Search advertising: Ads that appear as search results on search engine results pages (SERPs)
  • Display advertising: Ads that appear as graphics, videos, or paid posts typically found on social media feeds and other third-party websites
